In 1982 Engineer Bernardo Gutierrez began developing and manufacturing products in Silicone in his home country Argentina. Moving to Italy in the late 1980’s having accumulated a wealth of experience in Silicone and product development, Engineer Gutierrez established a new manufacturing plant under the name I.G.P. - Ing. Gutierrez Production. I.G.P.has specialised over the years in developing silicone products for the orthopedic market including breast prosthesis, new style shock absorbing heel cushions, pad and silicone gel insoles. Today I.G.P. is the largest producer of Silicone Foot products in Italy and these comfortable and preventative silicone footwear inserts can be used in all types of casual and sport shoes. Engineer Gutierrez has also developed and patented products for hypertrophic wounds and conducted extensive research in the field of burns. |
